Anamarija Rogina was born in 1987. in Zagreb, Croatia and she obtained a PhD in 2015. from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb under the supervision of prof. Marica Ivanković. After doctoral and postdoctoral training at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, she was promoted to assistant professor at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in 2018.
She received the L’Oreal-UNESCO award for ‘Women in Science’ in 2015. and National Annual Science Award for Young Scientist in 2020. According to the researcher database provided by Stanford University (USA), she was among the 2% most cited scientists in the world in 2021.
She is a member of the editorial board of Materials Today Bio - 1st Early Career Researcher Board (2022. - 2024.) and a member of the editorial board of Polymers MDPI journal.
