Biography

Dora Lastovčić was born on January 11, 2000, in Zagreb. In 2018, she graduated from the Antun Gustav Matoš Gymnasium in Samobor and enrolled in the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, studying Applied Chemistry. In 2024, she graduated from the same program under the mentorship of prof. dr. sc. Danijela Ašperger with a thesis titled Monitoring of Selected Xenobiotics During Wastewater Treatment Process. In the same year, she also received the Dean’s Award for her scientific work Development and Optimization of an Extraction Method for Baricitinib, Ivermectin, and Closantel from Real Sediment Samples. Since October 2024, she has been employed as an assistant doctoral student at the Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, working on a project funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
