Monika Znika completed her master's degree on September 29, 2023, earning the title of Master of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb. She developed her thesis titled "Synthesis, Characterization, and Thermal Transformation of New Styryl-Heterocycles and Quantum-Chemical Study of the Reaction Mechanism" under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Dr. Dragana Vuk.

In October 2024, she begins her professional career at the University of Zagreb, taking a collaborative position in the Department of Reaction Engineering and Catalysis at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. Concurrently, she enrolls in the doctoral program in Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry.
