Title: Doctoral assistant
Renata Vičević was born in 1998 in Rijeka. She enrolled in the undergraduate program in Chemical Engineering in 2017 at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb, and completed it in 2021. That same year, she enrolled in the master's program in Chemical Engineering at the same faculty, Chemical Engineering in Environmental Protection module.
From March to September 2023, she participated in an Erasmus+ professional internship at the Dutch institute Wetsus - European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology, working on the project "Development of new biological desulfurization processing schemes."
Since September 23, 2024, she has been employed as an Assistant-PhD Candidate at the Department of Reaction Engineering and Catalysis at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of Zagreb.
So far, she has co-authored four scientific papers, presented four poster contributions at international and national scientific conferences, and received the Rector's Award for team scientific and artistic work in the 2021/2022 academic year for the research "Production of bioethanol from enzymatic and acid hydrolysates of brewer's spent grain."
